ESD (Education for Sustainable Development Network) Uganda supported by CECOD held its annual general meeting on the 31st August 2018 at G.1 hotel, Kampala. This meeting was held under the theme streamlining of its membership for effective policy advocacy. The ESD Network Uganda is an organization formed for a major purpose of promoting social economic and environmental sustainability values through Education for Sustainable Development approaches focusing on all social groups in Uganda.
The meeting was attended by members form the different constituencies of the network ranging from CSOs, Community Based Eco School Networks and Honorary members who discussed at length about the different issues concerning the network and how best they could be approached. The theme of the meeting rotated about the network membership and how best it would be consolidated to achieve the broader goal of effective policy advocacy. A substantive board of governors was elected into office who diligently promised to lead the network into greater heights.
