ABOUT CECOD
Conservation Efforts for Community Development (CECOD) is an indigenous nonprofit NGO charity founded in 1999, registered in Uganda by the NGO Board since 2001, accredited to the United Nations Convetion to cCombat Desertification (UNNCD) since 2003, and a member of Foundation for Environmental Education (FEE) International representing Uganda since 2009 to date. . We work to address environmental and social-economic challenges at local and national level. Our mandate is to empower local communities and institutions of learning for action on sustainable natural resource management, social- transformation and livelihood improvement through education for sustainable development.
