Eco-Schools Consortium Induction meeting at the Mpigi Incubation Center on the 4th November 2020.
The recently concluded Eco-Schools Consortium Induction Tour held at the Mpigi Incubation Center on Friday 6th November, 2020 ratified the Non-Exclusive Terms of Reference for sub-licensing selected Third Parties (Implementing Partner CSOs & Networks) under Uganda Eco-Schools Consortium. Stakeholders in attendance engaged in a number of activities that included; Signing the Terms of Reference, Lessons sharing and Orientation on best practices of sustainable community-based agricultural and livelihood support interventions.
With a focus on accelerating sustainable solutions at local level through promoting entrepreneurship, the Mpigi Incubation Center hosts activities pivoting around promoting sustainability practices and climate change response through research, innovation and social transformation and empowering communities.
In the spirit of partnerships to complement the concerted efforts for the goals, CECOD–FEE Uganda has since 2009 worked in close partnership with like-minded CSOs and Networks in the implementation of FEE patented program brands following the FEE license guidelines; for which the ToRs were made to guide the ratification and operationalisation of Uganda Eco-Schools Consortium by CECOD Secretariat and the implementing partner CSOs or Networks using a Regional Tier Eco-Schools Community of Practice Volunteer Approach.
